The RM default password is set as rm or rmplc, but we strongly suggest changing this to something more secure. You will need to have the supervisor’s password for setting up the new password after the old incorrect one has been reset. Some RM notebooks can have the BIOS password reset by using a link/jumper in the memory compartment. Normally the BIOS password has been forgotten, either it is changed by a colleague that has left or it has been changed maliciously.
